The politics stream consists of the factors that influence agendas or the policy process. The national mood refers to the idea that a fairly large majority of a country tends to think along common lines, although this mood can fluctuate from time to time. This mood of the nation can also be termed as the political climate. Government officials monitor public opinion polls to estimate the amount of change in national mood, and then use this information to act on their agenda or to diminish the success of others agenda. Often time’s politicians formulate the balance of support and opposition for a certain issue in order to determine the chances of an issue to rise or fail in the policy process. Lastly the administrative or legislative turnover has a significant influence on politics. The turnover of personal signifies a want or need for change with in the administration. The whole purpose of political elections and government is to act on the will of the people. The combination of national mood and turnover in government has the most powerful effect on agendas. However, if a marriage was to fall apart in a state that does not recognize the couple’s legal status, they will not be able to dissolve their marriage. â€Å"In order to get a divorce from a same-sex partner, they would have to live in a state for six months to two years†, said Susan Sommer, director of constitutional litigation at Lambda Legal (Landau 1). Since several states in America do not allow same-sex marriages, many people do not understand why states are not willing to dissolve these marriages (Landau 4). In class, we were demonstrated a presentation in which several outstanding nurses from the aboriginal community have been considered (Amzat Padilla-Valdez, 2017). The documentary showed the achievements of the indigenous nurses in Australia. It showed their skills, capabilities, and the pride that the indigenous nurses show in their profession. During the presentation, I realized that the indigenous people have the same capabilities. During my tenure in Australia, I realized that there will be several significant barriers in the growth and development of the indigenous nurses. I realized that the aboriginals have to face several discrimination and barriers during their tenure in the business organizations. We were taught ABCD model, in which different aspects of culture between different communities can be examined. The Cultural ABCD assessment is used to analyze the attitude and the beliefs of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Although there are several differences, they can be handled with appropriate considerations. It is an effective model to understand the difference and attain knowledge about different cultures. It is necessarily important, while dealing with children as they have a deep psychological impact of each and every action. It is also important to understand their medication, and how respect it. Overall, the module helped me in developing my skills as a nurse. Henceforth, I will try to be more sensitive while dealing with the people of different communities. It can be concluded that my individual decision-making has changed after taking the current subject. In the future, I will be more considerate of the feelings of others while treating the patients.
